Direct market cultivation by Jansen in the Netherlands and Belgium
Jansen AG, the market leader for steel window, door and façade systems, is opening an office for the Netherlands and Belgium on 1 January 2022. To this end, Jansen is recruiting employees from Kloeckner ODS, who have been responsible for sales activities until now.
The sustainable steel profile systems from the Swiss family company Jansen are used in numerous buildings around the world. In the Netherlands and Belgium, steel windows, doors and façades for indoor and outdoor applications are sold exclusively by Kloeckner ODS.
They give shape to buildings such as recent award winner Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam, provide security in the Council of Europe building in Brussels and the European Court of Justice in The Hague, preserve buildings such as the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren and breathe new life into Brussels’ famous Gare Maritime.
Kloeckner ODS and Jansen AG are now announcing the termination of their long-standing partnership as of 31 December 2021 by mutual agreement. Both companies want to ensure that everything runs smoothly for their partners during the transition phase and beyond.
From 1 January 2022, Jansen plans to serve the steel market in the Netherlands and Belgium with an on-site office. The Kloeckner ODS team, led by Ron Jacobs and Tim van Looveren, which up until now has been responsible for the essential sales work of Jansen steel systems, will be employed by Jansen. Jansen remains the first port of call on the market for Jansen façade systems, windows, doors and partition walls made of steel for indoor and outdoor use.
Founded in 1923, Jansen AG is headquartered in Oberriet, Switzerland, and develops, produces and sells steel profile systems as well as plastics products for the construction industry. Since 1978, Jansen has also been the exclusive Swiss distribution partner of the German company Schüco International KG, distributing their aluminium profile systems for the building sector. In January 2021, Jansen acquired the RP Technik GmbH subsidiary, a provider of steel solution systems for façades, windows and doors, from the Welser Profile Group. As of 1 April 2021, Jansen transferred its automotive supply business to Mubea. The Jansen Group is 100% family owned and currently employs some 600 people around the world.
